I’m getting a new car that my Dad’s gonna help me buy it but he says I have to pay the insurance and I have to get some car breakdown cover. I didn’t know it was going to be so expensive to be independent. Is breakdown cover really important? Is that something I can do without? How many people really use the coverage? I know people that pay for years and never call for service. I don’t have the extra money to pay for something I’m never gonna use but Dad says it’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Is that true?
