It seems like a daily occurrence.  Every day it seems like there is a new record oil price.  I remember a few years ago oil getting to $80/barrel was absolutely ridiculous.  Now that would be a bargain and a half if you could get gas at that price.  Unfortunately, we live in a world where $140/barrel gas is going to become the reality.  I just hope that we’re finally going to do something as a nation to stop relying on oil so much.  George Bush was right when he said that we’re a nation addicted to oil.  Now it’s time to do something about it Mr. President.  How about we take away the tax breaks for oil companies and use that money instead to fund alternative fuels.
