Intellectual Property
May 31st, 2008 . by adminIntellectual property is creations from one’s mind, such as artistic works of music, art, words and also commercial works such as symbols, brand names, images and designs. The term intellectual property actually refers to a legal field that is designed to protect individuals who have created and so "own" such abstractions. The owners of intellectual property are, under law, entitled to certain exclusive rights in terms of it’s use. Some intellectual property comes under the category of industrial properties. Industrial properties are inventions created for industrial or commercial applications. Such inventions are typically patented with the help of a patent attorney whose job it is to ensure that the invention itself is not an infringement on someone else’s intellectual property.
