Boosting The Distance On CAT5 Cables
November 15th, 2008 . by adminBy using cat 5 cable pairs I was able to boost the cat5 distance of my networking cables. This was extremely handy, because I had to connect a computer to the router over a very long distance without much slowdown. Using a wireless connection was out of the question due to interference issues with the building. The little trick I used to boost the distance was very effective and I used it multiple times afterwards on different cables in different areas.
