Maintaining Friendship With Exmormon Friends

December 1st, 2009 . by admin

Sometimes I get nervous around my exmormon friends. I want to be myself, but I don’t want to put them off with any spiritual thoughts I might have. I have found most of them have been very accepting and not negative about my beliefs, but other exmormon friends are hostile towards all religion in general. I hope they know that I love them no matter what and I wouldn’t try to force my beliefs on them. I do wish they would come back, but they can make that decision on their own. If they do come back though, I hope I’ll get to witness it.

Abortion Views

November 29th, 2009 . by admin

I would be curious to see a poll on exmormon individuals and their views on abortion. It would be very interesting to see if just because they are disconnected from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a very conservative church, if they take pro-abortion views just because it’s the opposite of what the church teaches or because they have actually changed their opinion. I can’t see myself changing my views to pro-abortion even if I became an exmormon. Of course, I also know that I would never leave the Church, so that’s not terribly surprising. I will also view abortion as murder.

How to Plan a Wedding and Save

November 28th, 2009 . by admin

One of the biggest questions that brides have when they are planning a wedding is how do I get the wedding I’ve always dreamed of on the wedding budget that I find myself forced with? Some brides assume that that kind of wedding planning is nearly impossible in some instances and try to warn brides not to get their hopes up on a dream wedding. This kind of advice is terrible and defeatist. Instead of wallowing in what other people say, get out there and make it happen.

Understanding how to plan a wedding isn’t just knowing how to work the phone to call vendors and hwo to write out big checks. It’s learning the secrets to saving a lot of money on your wedding without sacrificing style or elegance. Trust me, you really can have it all.

Welcome to Adulthood

November 25th, 2009 . by admin

I just graduated from college and could not believe my luck in finding a job right away. My Parent and I began to search for my very first apartment. They had concerns that the graphic designer salary was not going to be enough to cover my expenses. I intend to prove them wrong and show them that I am an adult and can be responsible for my own needs. My job is so much fun and I look forward to heading into work every day. You just never know what project will land on your desk on any given day. All of the assignments have been a blast.

The Sky Is The Limit

November 25th, 2009 . by admin

When having the experience and knowledge to be an all around expert in many fields, it is expected to reap the advantages as well as the disadvantages. In high demand for speeches, performances, and advice, it can become quite difficult pleasing the masses and continuing to be able to break ground and create innovative commodities that people will enjoy. Randy Charach fortunately seems to have no issues in doing just that. With notches in his belt that include former magician, Internet marketer, film producer, talent recruiter, tutorial creator, mass motivator and more, he continues to shatter any one that even comes close to his expectations and refuses to see any limitations.

Who Has The Best Debt Relief Program?

November 22nd, 2009 . by admin

As I am not good at numbers, I messed up in my monthly budgeting. I could not pay my monthly dues due to short fall and now I am in debt. Under these circumstances, one needs to carefully go through the dept situation, access the situation and arrive on a good Dept Relief Plan that will ensure that one’s finances are back in his control. This is what exactly the Company “Assured Debt Consolidation” has done to help me come out of my debts by providing a custom made Debt Relief arrangements. The counselor is really quick with the numbers; he showed me how I can manage to clear my debts easily without borrowing. I was really embarrassed to know the good news.

Who are the heroes?

November 19th, 2009 . by admin

In mormon history, it is easy to look at the sacrifices and contributions of great leaders, like Joseph Smith, Emma Smith, Brigham Young, John Taylor, and so on. They would be the first to remind us, however, that the true strength of mormon history and of the Church today is of the laymen who live the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the gospel of Jesus Christ that can bring about miraculous changes in our lives, and it is by seeing those changes that we can identify so many heroes in the Church. My mother is one of these. Each ward is full of these heroes.

Continuing Education

November 18th, 2009 . by admin

It is very important to continue your education, no matter how that is done. In mormon doctrine it is taught that whatever knowledge one gains here, one will be able to take into the next life, where it will be our goal to increase eternally. That offers a powerful incentive in mormon doctrine to continue learning every day. This doesn’t mean you have to stay in college forever. This just means that we should take advantage of opportunities around us to learn new things; continue to read on subjects that interest you; be involved in your community, and things like that.

Teaching My Niece Georgraphy

November 16th, 2009 . by admin

My sister called me today and asked me to tutor her daughter in geography.  She had lost all patience with her and just could not take it any more.  I can understand this as my Amber will be coming over here 3 afternoons a week after school.  She’s only in the 5th grade, so how hard can it be.  Apparently, she has a “big” test coming up soon that will require her to know all the world capitals and oceans.  I am having my son join in with the tutoring by making up flash cards and drawing me a world map. He’s a great artist, so this should be a fun activity for him.

Bad Fax Transmissions – Use Reverse Fax Lookup Let Them Know

November 12th, 2009 . by admin

With the many simple inventions of our time, tracing back a number has become as easy as snapping our fingers! So in cases where you received a fax and you want to find out which company or the name of the person the fax number belongs to, then all you have to do is go in for a reverse fax lookup. You can use the program Reverse Records to carry out such an activity with ease. While the tool is not branded for conducting reverse fax lookups, you can still very easily find out who the fax number belongs to. Just type it in and clear all your doubts. You can also use a normal phone book for a reverse fax lookup, but chances are it’s not going to get you anywhere. Better to try the Reverse Records and see the results yourself!

What is the Best Way to Learn to Speak French?

November 10th, 2009 . by admin

I am determined to learn to speak another language and decided French will be where I start. I kick myself for not taking it in high school as I could have been well on my way but am still prepared to make it happen. I’ve checked out the community courses at the local colleges but I can’t find a night that works for me on a consistent basis and I think I’d like to be able to go at my own pace. Other than french immersion in another country the only thing I could think of was an online course. I did a google search for learn to speak french and found a program that seems really good but I was wondering if anyone else has tried this Rocket French course and liked it?

Jump Start Your Career With An Online Bachelors Degree

November 8th, 2009 . by admin

I had tea with an old friend last week, and we talked about how things were going for us at work. I listened attentively as she described her amazing job, and I wanted to have the kind of career that she did. I told her that I was considering going back to school, and she told me that she had obtained an online bachelors degree. She gave me the name of the program, and I went home and looked it up online. I found that it was affordable and very highly rated, so I enrolled. I am so excited to be working my way toward a new career!

Teaching My Kids to Love Jesus

November 6th, 2009 . by admin

If I am able to successfully teach my kids one thing, I would want them to know that jesus christ suffered and died for us so we can live with Him and Heavenly Father. A testimony of Jesus Christ is my greatest wish for them and I hope I can teach them by example. I wonder if I spend enough of my day sharing with them what He has done for me and for them. It would break my heart if they were to go astray because I’ve seen so many of my relatives do just that, only to have miserable lives.
