The 8th week features the development of some of the body organs such as the CNS, at this stage the baby is about 40mm. The 12th and 24th week, the baby’s head will face the cervix and random movements will be felt. By the 40th week the baby will be fully-grown, can be born at any time with about 20” inches long, and will weigh up to 8 Pounds.
