Lasik Surgery Problems: To Have Or Not To Have, That Is The Question

July 3rd, 2009 . by admin

If you have always wondered why you have to continue wearing eye glasses to correct your sight when technology has the capacity to do something better and less cumbersome, welcome to the possibility created by Laser eye surgery. I am one among millions of people in the world who now prefers Laser eye surgery to wearing eye glasses, as a way of improving my eye defects. Apart from it being completely painless, eye laser surgery leads to a very significant improvement in the eye; that’s obviously good reasons why most people prefer it.

I’m sure you need more explanation about how this method works, right? Among all the tissues in the body, the corneal tissue is saddled with the task of ensuring we see clearly. The retina is a layer of light sensitive cells which is thin and receives light from the object, refracted or bent by the cornea. When they say a person has a refractive condition, what this means is that the light rays from objects don’t fully reach the retina.

My next post will be about lasik surgery problems.
