Correct House Cleaning Techniques
February 28th, 2009 . by adminVinyl siding shouldn’t be cleaned at a pressure of more than 600-800 psi and can even be cleaned effectively at much less pressures.
House cleaning is all about the chemicals being used not the ability to blast the vinyl with excessive pressure.
Hitting the vinyl at the wrong angles can force water behind the siding. House cleaning should not be performed at a harsh upward angle or by shooting towards the overlapped ends of the siding.
House cleaning should be performed out and away from the house at a more flat trajectory. There is no reason to be right on top of the siding when using the proper equipment, methods, and chemicals.
