When my wife and I were first married we had very little in the sense of material possessions. Two weeks prior to exchanging vows, I packed up my compact, 1979 Dodge Omni hatchback with everything I owned and had plenty of room to spare. In a sense, that was a very transformational and humbling experience for me. To say that a lot has transpired since then would be an understatement. We have a beautiful family living in a quiet, 1950s ranch furnished with some of the most-stylish contemporary oak furniture and other furnishings. But even if all our stuff was gone, I would still feel complete and satisfied.
