I couldn’t believe it when I went to my bank and they refused to consider making a small loan to me.  For years I’d had several accounts with them and they had encouraged me to borrow money and use use their expensive services, including credit cards.  But, once I lost my job and missed a few payments, my credit rating suffered and the bank wouldn’t even talk to me about borrowing, even when I went back to work.  Since I needed money for an emergency, I researched and located a company who agreed to a bad credit personal loan, with surprisingly good terms.  The staff was cordial and the terms good.  Most of all, I now know that I have emergency help I can count on.
