What do you get when you cross a girl who loves horses with a girl who is a pack rat?  My daughter, Amy.  Amy cannot bear to part with anything.  When she was little I had to wait until she was away to clean out her room and her closet so that she would not see me toss out all the little pieces of paper, plastic toys you get with kid’s meals, and clothes that are too small or too worn.  I finally decided to start a collection of Breyer Model Horses for her as this is something she loves and something she can keep forever.  I try to give her at least one each year as a gift.  So far she has eleven and loves every one.
