One of the most sensible and practical things the keen gardener and labrador retriever owner can do is to ask his local vet for a list of dangerous plants. If the vet is unable to provide such a list then a specialist garden centre or horticultural company should be able to provide the owner with the necessary information to help keep his dog safe.
