One of the best decisions we ever made was to work with a real estate buyers agent.  We saw a couple homes, and then all of a sudden, our dream home was on the market at about half of market value since it was a bank owned property.  We needed to move, and we needed to move fast.  Our agent did everything necessary to move the transaction along, and we ended up being the first offer in on the property.  The sellers counter offered, and the house was ours.  After this happened, several offers came in that were even higher than ours, but because we moved so quickly, the home was ours! Our agent made it possible.
