My teenage daughter wanted to have a “green” birthday party this year for her 18th birthday. It took quite a bit of online shopping and inventive ideas, but finding the recycled materials to host the party was really fun. One thing we were worried about was finding thank you cards for attending and presents. We searched the Internet and found templates to make our own recycled thank you cards. Instead of printing the cards, she sent them via email and that reduced the paper waste. All of her friends and our family were amazed with the party and how she was so adamant about going “green.”
