Ever since I was young, I have loved turtles. I am fairly certain that it stemmed from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I was absolutely obsessed with that show, and decided to learn how to care for turtles and get a pet turtle and train him as my own little ninja turtle. I named him Michelangelo (I considered myself to be a party turtle), and proceeded to begin my training regimen. He was an excellent pupil, or at least I thought he was. I gave him a wonderful aquarium to live in, fed him without fail every day, and acted out all the kicks and strikes I would expect him to mimic as my ninja turtle friend. Unfortunately for me, I quickly realized my star pupil was no such thing, and I ended up giving him away to a friend that did not harbor aspirations of his own army of ninja turtles.
