Fresh cut flowers will always have a place in any formal setting, such as a wedding. I know that some people claim artificial flowers are just as convincing. Indeed, at our church, a bunch of plastic flowers has stood on the side of the auditorium for years and always add a certain cheer and freshness to the room. And on our own dining room table, in our home, we have a large bunch of delightfully bright Spring flowers in a glass vase all through Winter! They bring the sunshine in the room even when there is snow on the lawn outside. But nothing beats fresh. And at a wedding, the fragrance and stunning beauty that fresh flowers brings is hard to deny. And certainly, if we have to cut costs on a wedding day, it is wise to start pruning elsewhere.
