The Great Hiking Trails Of Yellowstone National Park

June 21st, 2008 . by admin

If you are looking for some great hiking trails Yellowstone will certainly fit the bill. The oldest of America’s National Parks and covering nearly 3,500 square miles, Yellowstone boasts some of the finest scenery to be found anywhere. For many people the centerpiece is of course Old Faithful which attracts millions of visitors every year and was even featured on a set of postage stamps way back in 1934. But Old Faithful is just one of more than 300 geysers to be seen in the park and one great hike is along the famed Mammoth Hot Springs. The terraces around the Mammoth Hot Springs are themselves a wonder of nature and are a site not to be missed by any hiker visiting the park.
